OMG! Actual Photos!

Let’s just start from the end, shall we?

Omg actual real photos!!!! I love them.  Are you kidding me? They are priceless. No backups, no copies… these are it! A copy for the each of us and that is it….well… except for the photo of them I took and sent to you and posted below.. but … I digress  LOL. Probably the best day ever! I get happy about silly things like this. 

So there was plenty of snow yesterday. The drive back after I dropped you off was less than ideal but I was on cloud nine. I had the photos on my dashboard, they kept me company the entire drive back. I don’t think I  stop smiling. 

I love the time we spent working together. I know I am weird like that. But you know work is a big part of who I am. When I see you figuring out stuff and seeing the results, your eyes lights ups… you have this look on your face and as we work on, you smile more LOL. I could watch you work all day. 

Our success at shopping this time isn’t all that great but perhaps we will do better in Portland if we do go shopping. Oh yes… that’s right! You and I are going! Flights and hotel are booked. I can’t wait. 

I also wanted to take this chance to thank you. For offering to let me stay with you the Friday before we fly off. It means a lot to me that you offered. *hugs*. But before Friday night comes, I got a little treat for you 🙂  

Waiting to see you is so bittersweet. The wait is painful, but the happiness I feel when I finally get to spend time with you is unexplainable… I don’t think anyone else can even imagine how happy I am… until next Wednesday Hope, I will be waiting…patiently… eagerly…

Thursday came and went….

Thursday came and went…. just like that. I really cannot believe how fast the time just disappears when I am with you.

The emails, the text messages, littles pops up on LinkedIn…. every time you show up in my life somehow, I get excited and re-energized. I feel happy that despite your busy and insane schedule, I manage to have a little bit of it.  It give sme just a little more of what I need to stay sane and not jump on the office sofa screaming!

We did have a busy day yesterday didn’t we? I even got a parking ticket in the process! Well lunch was good and its worth it. I am glad we talk about Portland a little and sorted the dates for the travel. i am going to see what i can do about hotel/apartment..etc. We have from Dec 15 to Dec 22ish. lets see what happens 🙂 

We spent a good deal of time working yesterday too. Man, you even wore me out a little. I am glad we were able to work on these project together. its nice to have that in common too. 

The two really good thing yesterday (on top of seeing you) was that the canvas for your wall arrived!. Originally it was suppose to arrive next week. I was a little impatient but it arrived just when I was leaving to pick you up. I am was so excited for you to have it. I wonder how it looked like after you hang it up. It is the only one around. Not even posting the digital copy online.  The other thing was the sex… wait.. i mean socks 😉 You in the sweater dress and the socks, i could hug you all day!!!!

Alas the day had to come to an end. The last time, i waited 4 days before i get to see you. this time it is 7 days. I do not know why but yesterday was especially hard for me to leave. I have told myself many times not to let you see me like that but I think I lost a little self control yesterday. It was difficult yesterday. I really did not want to leave you. 7 days…. 

 

Side note: i do love how the logo looks so sharp on your laptop screen.  🙂

RAMEN! IKEA! FREEZER DOORS! BooDha Belly!

The destroyer of all relationships – Ikea. Luckily for us, I just had to carry it up to your room 🙂 I could swear that there was a mischevious glee when you said you wanted to put it all together. Girl, be gentle with it LOL.

 We had talked about how you like pork belly, so i figured i let you pick if you wanted to try something properly asian or go with the traditional bbq. 

I am glad you picked the Asian route just cause now I got to introduce you to ramen as well. 🙂  Might as well introduce you to as many things while I can.  I am glad you like the fried chicken along with it too, and the pork belly bao (buns).

After lunch, it was a quick hop over to Ikea to pick up a work desk, dressor and a cabinet for your room. I really wonder how everything will look like when you are done.  I admit it was rather fun smashing your old dresser to bits. 🙂

It was getting late and we decided to stay the night at a quirky little hotel (Hotel Royal Oak) near where our reservation was. We had a relaxing walk to Dixie Moon Saloon for a quick drink before the next stop inside a freezer 🙂

I think things got rough after we polished off the tacos and fries and a few more rounds of well shots. However, you do seem totally fine shooting at bad guys on the screen. I think i heard a record amount of profanity that even I had to laugh. I had a lot of fun with you.

You passed quickly after we got back to the hotel… rough night for you.  *hugs* i do hope you are feeling better by now. Now the wait begins again for me… until thursday.

All I can say is.. I will never be able to eat the cheap packaged ramen again. This is going to make the rest of my college life tough 😉 

On  the other hand, my new desk/room set up will make the rest of my college life AMAZING!!!! (BTW, I did almost break a few things while putting it together… I realized quickly I needed to be gentle with it lolol). 
I was so happy to finally go to an ikea, and WOAH I could really get lost in there. So much to look at. Like the lights that expand to let more light out. How crazy that this light that was so entertaining to me was in our hotel room!!  

It was hard for me to not start banging on the drums that we got the picture with. Thankfully it was early on in the day or else I might’ve totally ignored the bar manager telling me I could get up there for a pic if I didn’t try to start playing them… 

I think the freezer door was the coolest entry to a hidden spot at this point..
I definitely enjoyed the small complementary teaser (was it potatoes? with caviar – I can’t recall due to the amount of liquor ingested beforehand :P). 

(my camera definitely sucks, picture taking skills are questionable) 

As for the profanity during the shooting game, THAT SHIT WAS INTENSE. I tend to blurt out only curse words when in those moments. Even though I was only yelling out bad words (to the point where I got called out for it by a guy near us…), I haven’t had that much fun playing a game in a while. 

Anyways, Eddie introduced me to multiple new things (as always)  in just one day.

I don’t know how he does it, but he could make a career just out of showing someone a good time. 

I had such an amazing time as always. 🙂

One last day

Honestly, I can’t believe that I actually made it till today. Just 1 last day of official work and that is it. It has been a trying trip. Your messages, your pictures and your voice kept me sane. Every single bit help. Short messages here and there is a sweet reminder of you. I have caught myself smiling here and there whenever I would think of you. I am sure the people sitting across me thinks i am nuts…. well i am LOL.

As i write this, I am really hoping you are getting some rest. You were working when I got your last message. I can’t help but think how wrong some of the people will be when they see you in a few years.  You and I will do this together. All the up and downs, success and failures, I will be there for you (this includes your final presentation).

I cant wait to have more adventures with you. The mysteries behind every door is just so much better when you are there to share it with me.
