I shared this song with you on our way back from Detroit.
Our first road trip took place on Sept 22nd, 2018. It was a a day trip to Detroit. I picked Hope up at 10 am and we were off.
Honestly I did not know how the trip would have gone. The places I tend to visit are not exactly tourist sites. I like being a local. And since this is our FIRST trip, I figure 2 things should happen, just put it all out there and see where it goes.... and... i forgot the second...
Anyways, I digress. We stopped by the Eastern Market for a quick lunch. We were able to find a spot by a BB joint with a live performance that day. Pull Port sandwich for lunch 🙂
I do wished that we have taken a photo together this trip but alas, the opportunity escapes us this time.
After lunch it was off to the ghettos. Yup. I took her to the slums... check out the gallery below. Most of the pictures were taken at the Heidelburg Project.
